Staff & Volunteers

THE PICTURE SHOWS A STAFF MEMBER HELPING TO PUT A PUZZLE TOGETHER AND HELPING FRIENDSHIPS GROW!

Heritage Home for Women maintains a staff of 32.  The staff is on premises 24/7 to attend to the ladies’ needs.

In addition, the Home also provides supportive services through a registered dietician, community hospice, other health care professionals such as physical and occupational therapists and local pharmacies.  These professionals also provide ongoing education and support to our staff year round.

We are also pleased to extend in-house physician services to our Resident via local physicians, who visit patients right here in the Home.  Our podiatrist, Dr. Stephen Lam, also visits and provides services regularly to our Residents.

What do volunteers do here at the Heritage Home? – everything and anything!

We have wonderful volunteers who come and visit with the ladies, others who lead activities, such as as BINGO or gardening; and others who share their specific talents or special skills with us, like music appreciation, health & wellness activities, photography, travelogues, arts & crafts or puzzles and games. Student interns from Union College and other areas school also work with the Home and its Residents.

We welcome all types of volunteer support!
