SIGNS OF SPRING are finally here! We are overjoyed with the thought of warmer weather. Seems like it has been a long, drawn out cold winter (sigh)! Our Cake Walk on May 1st was so much fun! We raffled 26 cakes and raised $250 to benefit our Residents! Our Walking Club has resumed for those Ladies that wish to take daily walks, as well as, our Out & About trips to local destinations. Special happenings will include a Barbie Doll Show on the 8th, a Board Luncheon with the Ladies for Mother's Day on the 9th, Piano Entertainer, Nancy Waldman on the 16th and Piano man Al Mosher on the 23rd. Other interesting programs this month will be "Women in the Bible", "Remembering Children's Classic Stories", Art Journaling, Poetry reading and our new Singing Circle. There will be a special Memorial Day Program planned on the 26th. Jumping a bit ahead, in June, at Vale Cemetary, The Heritage Home will unveil it's new monument to honor the Ladies that have been laid to rest there. Once again, a very busy month!
