February has been an incredibly busy month for our Ladies! Cold winter weather doesn't stop us from having fun! We had the pleasure of listening to a Winter Violin Performance by the students of Paula Shaw. They played classical and popular selections to the delight of everyone. We celebrated Black History Month with readings by Angela Williams and will have a special visit from the New Bethel Community Church Youth Choir the end of this month. We also celebrated Mardi Gras with Brian Zapel and enjoyed all the trimmings including Mardi Gras beads and a fantastic King Cake baked by our own chef, Ron Gannon. Our annual Chinese New Year party was a big hit and the Ladies really loved the local take -out Chinese food, tea and fortune cookies, of course! Other activities included Ash Wednesday services, President's Day trivia, Valentine Bingo, a New Ladies Luncheon and later this month, Happy Hour with cherry pie (in honor of George Washington). We are all looking so forward to Spring, Easter and Saint Patrick's Day. Once again, the awesome Irish/Scottish band, "The Shenanigans" will be providing us with entertainment in celebration of St. Pat's Day. All Ladies and Staff wish you a HAPPY SPRING!
